Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is intended to aid individuals with their own particular experiences and issues of concern, with an emphasis on orienting towards wellbeing.

People embark on periods of psychotherapy for many reasons, perhaps to investigate and tackle experiences of depression, anxiety, stress, addictions and low self esteem. Others may feel ‘stuck’ in their lives and relationships or find themselves dealing with bereavement, isolation or a sense of unfulfilled potential. Whatever it is that brings you to consider therapy, the work involves developing trust and safety in relationship and thus cultivating a sense of support and wellbeing.

Psychotherapy takes place in a private and confidential space, where over time fears, anxieties and life circumstances can be spoken of and listened to with respect. Clients are not offered answers or solutions; rather each individual is assisted, accompanied and supported in a process of enquiry. This is a journey of paying new attention; to our past and present experience, our distinctive ways of being in the world, our patterns in relationships, and the choices available to us.
