Alexander Technique

"I couldn't live without it."
Learning the Alexander Technique helps improve your balance, co-ordination and wellbeing by helping you find more ease. This can be transformational!

Why is the Alexander Technique good for your Wellbeing?

This is a simple and practical, but profoundly effective life skill.
Daily, you use a complex, unique and precious thing; you! You are your primary tool in everything you do, but how much do you really know about how you use yourself?

By learning about how we move, think and feel, we find the ways we limit ourselves or make life harder and more effortful than it needs to be. Then we learn to do less to achieve our goals.

When we're using ourselves well, everything's easier, lighter and more enjoyable. A few things people use the AT for:

  • pain
  • improved posture
  • anxiety, stress and low mood
  • music, sport...all daily activities

Did you know?
F.M. Alexander developed the Technique over 100 years ago when the medical profession failed to help with his persistent vocal problems.

Bethan Evans Bethan Evans

Bethan is a STAT-registered teacher of the Alexander Technique. She thinks that learning should be enjoyable despite her medical background!  Individual and small group lessons are available.
