Physiotherapy is concerned with the manipulation and rehabilitation of the body’s soft tissues.

Why is Physiotherapy good for Injury Rehabilitation?

Physiotherapy offers both a hands-on treatment that will speed recovery following injury and guidance to help you through the healing process and how to avoid further injuries.

Our physios use a mixture of hands-on skills (such as trigger point release, deep massage, or joint manipulation), electrotherapy (such as ultrasound), and specific exercises to return your body not only into its former strength, but also to balance and flexibility so you will increase performance and reduce injuries in the future.

If physiotherapy alone is not going to be the solution, we have a very close working relationship with orthopaedic surgeons, radiologists, and other medical professionals so we can rapidly refer you on to the right person and help guide you through any onward process to get you better.

Remember! You should see your physiotherapist as quickly as possible after an injury as the first 12 weeks after an injury are the most critical in achieving a good recovery.
