Hatha Yoga
The word Yoga means “union”, which refers to the union of the mind, body and spirit. It is more than just an exercise; it’s about combining mental awareness with physical discipline bringing balance to your life.  Hatha Yoga focuses on combining physical yoga postures (gentle and energetic) with breathing techniques and meditation.

Beginners Dynamic Yoga

An introduction to the foundations of the Astanga vinyasa System underpinned by the ancient tradition of Hatha Yoga. This class will offer on opportunity to connect body motion with breath whilst developing an understanding of the components of a steady foundation and correct alignment in each posture. This class aims to support a self-practice that can be taken away from the class and into the home. All levels welcome.

Flow Yoga to Music

A variety of exciting & invigorating sequences of yoga postures linked together with breath and inspired by music.  These classes include breathing techniques (pranyama), bandha, modifications  and relaxation.  Classes are open to everyone.

Annabel teaches Pilates and Hatha Yoga classes at The Berkeley Centre.  She is also available to work with clients on an individual basis.

Charlotte is a Yoga Instructor at The Berkeley Centre, teaching 'Yoga to Nourish' every Tuesday evening at 7pm and Dynamic Yoga every Thursday evening at 7pm.

Gill Hurst Gill Hurst
Gill is a Chartered and State registered Physiotherapist. She joined Grange in 2007 and treats all musculoskeletal conditions with a specialist interest in complex pain conditions.She teaches Yoga rooted in the Hatha and Ashtanga traditions to all levels of practitioner.

Susie offers Holistic Massage – Relaxing and Deep Tissue, Thai Massage, Yoga, and Wellness Coaching/NLP.  She aims to assist clients to reach their goals, enhance health and wellness, and provide therapies to help manage diagnosed medical conditions.

Gary Osborn-Clarke Gary Osborn-Clarke

Gary has extensive experience both as a yoga teacher and a practitioner. He has studied yoga since 1995 and qualified to teach, at Yoga Arts (member of Yoga Alliance), Byron Bay, Australia, in 2002. He has been teaching in Bristol since 2003, including David Lloyd and Cannons-Nuffield

Nancy Braithwaite Nancy Braithwaite

Nancy Braithwaite (BSc Hons) MCSP is a qualified physiotherapist, massage therapist and yoga teacher. She also holds a BSc (Hons) qualification in physiology.  Nancy treats all musculoskeletal injuries and specialises in clinical workplace ergonomics and sports rehabilitation.
